El Jorón - Puntarenas

On this trip to Puntarenas we selected the Restaurante y Marisquería El Joron (strategic above the road of Paseo de los Turistas and the beach) according to some reviews (thanks to the municipality) and also the recommendation of my uncle. We ordered the Patacones con Frijoles as an appetizer, Patacones were crispy and tasty, as the main course we had the Arroz con Camarones, which was seasoned for perfection to balance the seafood flavors, the baked chicken was tender and juicy on the inside, also delicious, the broken yarn was tasteful. Overall we all agreed that the food is good and also the waiter was friendly and helpful. Another good place to eat in Puntarenas.

The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and accommodating for English-speaking customers. If you are in the area and hungry, consider a nice meal!

Suitable food and good service from staff. The menu wording about additional taxes is ambiguous, says 'precios impuestos' we read this to mean, but it actually means excluded. This type of pricing is always frustrating to say only the price of food. Automatic service fees are also not really how it should work.

Nice restaurant with wonderful food. I love the atmosphere, the staff. We have shrimp ceviche and lobster, both were perfect!

Great food, the service was good but they need to have more people in their staff. It was a long wait but worth it
