Taco Inc - Punxsutawney

I have not tried this restaurant yet, but being from the west coast, I usually find that the Mexican food in this area is subpar and does not compare to the authentic flavors. However, since this is all we have available, I am hopeful and optimistic about trying it.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The chips were served cold and the overall food lacked flavor and was prepared incorrectly. The only redeeming dish was the queso. I ordered the special nachos but was disappointed by the lack of toppings on the plate. The chicken in my burrito was tough and rubbery. In my opinion, it would be a better choice to eat at Taco Bell instead.

I have only tried Taco Inc.'s food truck and not their sit-down restaurant. I came across Taco Inc.'s food truck at the Pittsburgh Taco Festival, where they offered a menu of hard tacos, soft tacos, taco salad, nachos, burritos, and desserts. I ordered the $10 nachos but was told they had no desserts available despite just opening for the day. My husband and I were disappointed with the nachos, as they had too much lettuce which made the chips soggy and hard to eat. The chips and cheese were good, but the overall quality fell short.

Taco Inc in Punxy is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant around! It has quick service, great prices, delicious food, and plenty of space to sit in their dining room! I have become a regular for this place and I absolutely recommend to anybody wanting Mexican food!

They just catered a rehearsal dinner for 45 people. The food was A+. Gina and company were the best. Recommend them for food and their service. Was best thing I did was to get them to caterer when the entire wedding party wanted Mexican food!!!
