What a lovely little place! The owners are wonderful, and the food is incredible. I paid 100 rupees for a cinnamon roll and a croissant, and they even offered free chai. It's a beautiful 15-minute walk from the capital, making it a peaceful spot with stunning views. Please note that the address listed on Happy Cow is incorrect; they've requested a change in location, so it's better to use Google Maps instead.
This couple was incredibly friendly and welcoming! My friend and I were served one of the best teas I've ever had, and the bread was fantastic. Pair it with one of their homemade jams, and it's perfect. The address on Google is correct, but the one listed on this app is their old location, so make sure to avoid that one.
There is no need to go here as their products are actually sold to almost any bakery I have seen in pushkar. if they want to go anyway, they'll be there tomorrow morning if they didn't sell their stuff on the market. I went in the evening and got a few more things that later I realized I could get into the rest of places. almost if not every bakery in pushkar is full vegan thanks to them!
We found The Real German Bakery just outside the town of Pushkar. It is a stand alone building surrounded by farm land and a rose garden. After assuring us that everything they make is vegan we decided to join them for Chai on their rooftop. Krishna and his wife are seriously good people. We had a lovely time enjoying their quiet, peaceful rooftop with a great view. We had homemade toast, with homemade rose jam, cinnamon rolls and macaroons. They also offered vegetable sandwiches and full vegan dinner with cooking lessons! And the chai Krishna makes is unlike any other in India. He has his own recipe he brought from Nepal of over 40 ingredients with Ayurvedic properties. He sells this as a mix to take home as well. Throw in the Ayurvedic massage and this place is the real deal. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Pushkar, especially if you are a traveling vegan.
