Happy Bento - Puyallup

I love Happy Bento! It's my favorite Teriyaki place in the area. We always come back here for the great taste, large portions, and friendly waitstaff.

The menu options at Happy Bento were surprisingly good! We ordered the Chicken Katsu Bento (I recommend getting it with the nigiri instead of the California Roll: 10/10! which was phenomenal, the gyoza were delicious and juicy, and the house miso soup was authentic and hearty. There are plenty of options for all food preferences, from sushi to ramen to udon to teriyaki if you're looking for some quality Japanese food you HAVE to stop by! The only item that was sub par was the bubble tea, as it was more of a smoothie consistency than traditional bubble tea, but overall the food was incredible.

My go to place for bento boxes and sushi. I don't think I've had a bad order yet. Good amount of food. Not loud, tables are clean. Friendly staff

Generally quality sushi rolls. I tried the Philadelphia roll (salmon and cream cheese) and the rainbow roll (a variety). The ingredients were excellent and fresh. The rolls were expertly prepared. There was zero old fish smell. The staff were friendly and attentive too. My only qualm was that somehow the sushi rolls ended up more salty than I preferred. I've only been here once so I cannot say if that is likely to happen again.

Big portions! Sushi was amazing, and the fried rice very flavorful! Highly recommend if you’re an experienced sushi lover!
