Dinky Di Pies & Pastries - Pyrmont

I read somewhere Australians consume about 300 million pies every year. Dinky Di offers an answer to Harry de Wheels stacked pie. The add-on which i opted in to for an extra $2 on my Chunky steak pie includes mashed potato, peas and a dollop of gravy. While i do enjoy a crispy double crust pastry i can get over the already fragile pie base because somehow it works! From the tender chunks of steak filling to the tantilising dressing of the stack, in terms of flavour and value for money - THIS delivers!!!

The add-on I decided for an extra $ 2 on my chunky steak cake includes potato puree, peas and a dollop of the sauce. While I enjoy a crispy double crust dough, I can come over the already fragile cake floor because it somehow works! From the tender chunks of the steak filling to totilizing the stack of the stack, with regard to aroma and value for money - that delivers !!!

If you've ever made the trek (taking the bus I mean) after a long day on the beach but don't want to spend exorbitant amounts of money that touristy people

Had a minced beef pie and a cinnamon apple pastry - both were delicious! Seating was very limited though, and the plastic spork provided was immediately defeated by the crust of the meat pie. But we scrunched in, ate our pies by hand, and had a lovely breakfast overall.

We had a quick and tasty lunch before a show. The service was fast and included many varieties. Good for a quick pre-lunch/dinner meal.
