Every time I come to this part of Sydney, I park on the side or inner street (between Pyrmont and Harrison Street) next to the Paragon building (it's the cheapest parking I know of). You can sneak in to top up if you've gone over the parking limit, just in case you haven't finished dining within an hour or two, lol. I really used to enjoy the Japanese food here, especially before they changed management. It was disappointing when they stopped serving the 'deep fried oyster,' which was delicious. However, I still love their Sushi and Sashimi. The place is clean, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great.
The highlight of this place is the delicious food, although the decor and furnishings are a bit inconsistent. The quality of the food is excellent. The service was fantastic and while the atmosphere may resemble a casual takeout spot, it is still worth a visit.
Great little no frills sushi place. Very accommodating with last minute bookings.Value for money, and great friendly service.Definitely recommended.
I was not to play to visit here but My brother moved house andhe suddenly decide to shout the dinner to who helped him.Wanted to have japanese dinner and went to Hamachiya because that was the closest from his house.didnt expect anything good but actually menu was cheap and quality was good too
I have been dining at this restaurant in Sydney for about 7 years now whenever I visit. The service is always friendly, and the food is fresh and tasty. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day at a conference or exploring the city as a tourist.
