The Laneway Pyrmont - Pyrmont (NSW)

Such a great find. Staff were fantastic. Food was delicious and timely. Perfectly positioned close to the Lyric Theatre. Kid friendly. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a musician playing. They were also setting up for dancing later in the evening. The restaurant was kid-friendly and the food was delicious.

I made a reservation for 5pm for a meal before the theatre. When I arrived, I was informed that I couldn't order food until 5:30pm. When I finally placed my order at 5:30pm, I was told that there were no pizzas available that evening because the oven wasn't in use. I ended up ordering a different meal, but it was not entered correctly into the system and I never received it. I had to ask for a refund because I would have been late for the show at The Star if I waited for a new order. To make matters worse, they told me they couldn't refund my credit card and gave me cash instead. The service was awful and it makes no sense to take reservations for 5pm if you can't place orders until later.

I ordered a prosciutto salad with rocket, but unfortunately they forgot to include the rocket. I never received any rocket on my $27 pizza.

Great Sunday lunch, roast with all the trimmings, great value, cocktails and interesting wines with live music after 2pm. Very nice to have a local like The Laneway! We will be back. Soon.
