Unfortunately, with the change in ownership, the amazing five-star chicken that this place was known for is now a thing of the past. The food is now bland and lacking flavor. The once-popular gravy, which was celebrated for its deliciously salty taste, has been replaced with a tasteless version that you can find anywhere, even in supermarkets. Additionally, prices have risen significantly, making it difficult for most families to dine here comfortably. I have fond memories of finishing school, grabbing a $5 meal that included chicken, chips, and a drink—those were the best moments of the day, but now they are gone alongside the delicious flavors that used to be here. The new owners are friendly and have improved the seating layout, which is a positive change, but they really need to revive the old recipes and follow the methods of the previous chicken farm owners.

This was the best burger I've had in the last 15 years! The chips and chicken Caesar salad were also fantastic.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The buns were outstanding and truly lightened the mood. The calamari tasted incredible, definitely deserving of a 5-star rating. The prices for the meals are very affordable as well. The couple running the place has been incredibly friendly, and they've been a great addition to the atmosphere for the past few months. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Best chicken shop in Blacktown area ,very good on prices husband and wife very polite anyone t that goes to chicken king I would highly recommend to try this chicken shop out ,guaranteed you will not regret it all the bad reviews are based on old owner new owners have been there for only 6 7 months hrs are 9 9 m sat

I think the place has a new owner, the couple who runs it is very nice and the food is great
