Nice visit but not so busy because of 4. July vacation! Inside the fairy tale there are many ordinary shops. Some new and some that have been here for years. Lou's surplus is in a new location around corner of old square. More visible. Fresh meat and fruit and vegetables. Fresh baked goods from spots still strong) Cheese cakes are now $8.20 and individual sticky rolls are $2.50 There is a large animal and aquarium shop and just a little of everything with some places to eat a bite or a snack. Well, outside behind the indoor market is the flea market with outdoor tables and a few barns with many antiques and collectors from classic bikes to collector glasses, antique furniture and too much to write, but I have made a few pictures to help you decide whether it is worth visiting. I think that's it! Oh and if you happen to be in the back barn looking at some collector's pieces, say hello to Harry dirty harry) the long time friendly and interesting older guys with the white beard and a friendly smile that can share some history and some stories about the Quakertown Farmers Market and Flea Market.
I enjoy going a lot here as I enjoy the older farmers' markets. I can get over everything from the shops / sellers inside, including a variety of dishes / snacks from different areas to American, Japanese, Latin Eastern Europe (Babushkas). If I don't go for insiders, I enjoy beardering with the flea market providers find all sorts of stuff from baseball cards, tools, electronics, platewood, so much more. Today I visited raspberries, peppercorns for my mill, homemade sausages from Frederick's vegetable plants / herbs for my garden. All in a place at reasonable prices.
We love to come here to pick up wholesale discounts for our family. Nice place! Nice people!
Great place! One of those types of places that you can't see in a single visit!
