It can be our lack of experience, but ended up too expensive. the brot and the olives we got as apatizer were much too expensive and not unambiguous as not free the waiter has a glass wein upgraded to a small bottle without winning our clear concentrate, and the salat and the pommes were also expensive and not very good. the sons atleast was decent, but still not there again. our lection: nothing is free, just say no.

Lovely fresh fish seafood in a lovely setting overlooking the ocean. Great service. Will definitely return one evening for dinner.

It is a shame about all the mixed reviews so all I can say is that the best reviews are for lunchtime and that's exactly when we had an excellent experience so I would highly recommend that. The grilled golden Seabream and Cuttlefish were honestly...some of the best fish we've ever tasted, and he had us try some of his shellfish cataplana and that was also delicious. Both the waitress and owner Daniel spoke perfect English and were friendly and welcoming.

We visit the Vilamoura/Quarteira area every year as we have a property out there. Some of our family had just flowing the evening we went here. We had noticed that it was new and said we would try it. WORSE MISTAKE EVER!!!! When we arrived...they were very prompt in putting together a table of 4 for us. After about 15 minutes they came and took our drink order. After that we waited another 10 minutes for our food order to be taken, our starters were very simple, garlic bread and prawn cocktail, simple you would imagine!!! Our order was taken at 9.40pm, at 11pm I had to ask where our starters were, only to be told the kitchen is very busy, it will be another few minutes! At 11.20pm I went inside and asked to speak to the owner, who was standing right in front of me but kept his back to me and walked out passed me a number times. After a few minutes I stopped him and asked could I settle our drinks bill as we would not be waiting any longer for our food, he said that the kitchen was very busy, he then went into the kitchen and 2 minutes later he came out with the prawn cocktail said now you have your food, I refused to take the starters and asked to settle the drinks bill again, the owner just walked away and left me standing there, another staff noticing the rudeness asked me what we had to drink and apologised. We have been visiting this area for the last 12 years and never experienced such rudeness an unprofessional owner, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Order went wrong, food miserable, check wrong. I dont recommend this place at all. Not a restaurant, more like snack bar with restaurant prices. Tasted like convenience food.
