Family dinner, some of us haven’t been here for 5 years, From it’s humble beginnings 19 years ago, obviously spent some money upgrading the facilities, the outside eating area is perfect for an evening get togethers Pizzas at €12-19, reasonable size, traditional recipe cooked in a genuine pizza oven. Friday and Saturday evening have a live singer, not too bad.

Lovely restaurant, and open from early morning until late at night. So breakfast, lunch and dinner is catered for here. Great value.

After having waited for 50 (!) minutes to get 3 pizzas (take away), we got 1 wrong and 2 terrible tasting pizzas. Next day I had stomach problems. Never again.

Tiramasu is the heart and soul of Al Sakia providing excellent food from breakfast through to dinner in the Restaurant in an evening. It has a wide menu to suit all and is sensibly priced as to make it the place to eat throughout your stay. The owner, Joå is really a helpful and sincere person who cares about every customer to make sure they have a great experience. Our daughter has just returned with a few of her friends after a long weekend break and they all commented on how good the food was. Vegetable Lasagne and Pizza was especially mentioned. A big thank you for all that you do to make the Al Sakia experience the very best. We would be lost without Joå and Tiramasu.

We are fortunate to be neighbours on Al Sakia so this restaurant tends to be our 'local' dining out option. We have always been delighted with the standard of the food, we have tried most of the menu over the time we have been here and it is all very good indeed, the grilled prawns are excellent. Daily specials at lunchtime as is the norm in Portugal are sometimes available in the evening. Portions are generous, particularly the pastas so if you have a smaller appetite do not be afraid to ask for a half portion, even the pizzas can be made smaller. The staff are extremely friendly, always welcoming and knowledgeable, João who is regularly on duty himself has an excellent team in place here. Fantastic value too, tonight's three course dinner for two, pre-dinner drinks and a bottle of beautifully chilled Matues was €45.
