We ordered two baked subs via phone while pumping gas, so that we could maintain our driving pace: the Italian Stallion $15) and the meatball $14). Note: they require full payment over the phone for pickup orders The food was ready upon arrival, in less than 15 minutes as promised. The interior on this Thursday mid-afternoon was 80% empty, with just a handful of older bikers at the bar and none of the 15 or so tables were occupied so we opted to sit and eat. The sandwiches were very good a solid 4/5) with the only complaint being their smallish size for the price. I would estimate they are approximately 9-10 inches long and carried a decent, though not overwhelming, amount of meat. There was a bartender and 2-3 staff. None checked on us the entire time despite sitting close to the kitchen/cashier area. Parking is ample/free. Bathrooms are old but clean. The music leans toward country/western. Wood paneling everywhere and ceilings are low.
Very good pizza and salads. Enjoyed both. Funny little town bar with signage and stuff. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold. I am looking forward to another stop here for lunch or dinner.
Seriously delicious food and the prices are great! My husband and I shared a side salad and whatever the pizza size is that is larger than the mini. We were stuffed and we had pizza left over. We were really surprised by how affordable the prices were and the good quality of the food.
I stop by Silly Al's anytime I can on the 10 route. I've even stopped to grab pizza on the way home for family (despite living another 2hrs to get home). They are always accommodating, quick and consistent in quality. They even accommodated my bread-less Italian Stallion sandwich request without hesitation. Thanks for being a consistent surprise!
We wanted a quick bite to eat on the way to Glendale Arizona . I looked up Silly Al's Pizza in Quartzsite and found 4 3/4 ratings, so we decided to stop. We ordered a small Chicken Alfredo Pizza. We were delighted with the taste, the service and the quaintness of this restaurant. We sat in the bar at a high table. Samantha waited on us, she was very friendly, efficient and attentive. This was the best Pizza we have had in a long time! We highly recommend Silly Al's Pizza. Plus they had a Happy Hour and they took a dollar off of each of our beers.
