Dào の Yì はなわ - 塙町

The roadside station Hanawa has a Seven-Eleven store inside! Very convenient place. In the parking lot, there is a large doll figure made of paper mache! I wonder who that is? The soft serve ice cream is delicious, with crispy cones. Be careful not to be hit from above by the white objects dropped by the swallows nesting above. (May 4, 2022)

First visit to Hanawa-cho in Fukushima prefecture to conquer the Michi no Eki. The Michi no Eki Hanawa is wider and nicer than expected. The vegetable and handmade corners have a wide variety of products. Although I didn't have a meal here, I bought Satou-san's handmade yokan for a snack, which was delicious. If I have the opportunity, I would like to go back and buy it again.

It was a weekday, but the parking lot was almost full and the restaurant was very busy. I visited in the afternoon, and many shelves with local vegetables were sold out. I thought about eating soba before leaving, but there were too many people waiting in line due to the lunch hour, so I gave up. There is a Kujigawa river flowing behind the roadside station, and I think it would be nice to take a walk along the riverbank during cherry blossom season.
