Cafe Fuel - Queanbeyan

I would advise the Riverside Plaza management to take a closer look at Cafe Fuel and consider whether this is the style of venue that they are confident in offering to the public.The bench seating along the rear and side walls are badly stained, and every seat has the vinyl covering peeling off. The carpet looks filthy, the roof stained from leaking and I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like quite frankly.The service was slow and the staff had no idea what they were doing. The two young boys behind the counter, (one wearing a baseball cap on backwards), appeared to have no experience in customer service. The coffees were brought to us being held with a thumb on the lip of the mug, and then slid across the table. We were offered no cutlery to eat our meals, and had to collect it ourselves from a side cabinet under a television on the wall. There were no knives to be found. My pancakes were covered in black crud from the grill that obviously hadn't been cleaned. I also thought they were over priced for the two pancakes and squirt of canned cream that was served. My partner had the Big Breakfast, which was reasonable, but definately not great.There are other cafes at Riverside Plaza that offer much more.I don't know how this place is still in business. It is disgusting!

I have been coming to this restaurant almost every weekend since it opened for brunch or lunch. The food is amazing, especially the large coffees, milkshakes, and iced chocolates. The Eggs Benedict with salmon is my favorite dish. We enjoy dining here and the friendly service we receive.

Excellent coffee and friendly staff. My partner tried lamb fur fry, which he described as a meat eater, and thought it was excellent. I went for eggs Benedict. Open for breakfast on weekends. My only comment is that the lighting is dim, but a great find in Queanbeyan

Went there on a Saturday afternoon for some milkshakes and cake with my husband and 2 kids (under 5). Boy did we get more than we Bargained for: lovely service, yummy milkshakes, and big servings for a reasonable price.

My husband and my sister enjoyed their meals, but my steak was undercooked. I asked for well done but got medium. That really annoys me. The salad needed dressing. No one came to ask if we'd like more drinks or coffee etc. They did ask at the time of payment if everything was ok, but it was too little too late.
