We came and were immediately impressed by everything. The friendly, chic ambience and the charming service were paradisal. And of course, the 2014 throw playlist was perfect. But food – I can't even begin to describe it... The veritable symphony of aromas and textures and aromas that danced over my tongue and pranced when I entered the completely ineffective “Québec Burger”. Ultimately, as an American, it's a LOT to say this – but it was without a doubt the BEST burgers I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. It was my day. My week, even. I went to my face with a smile. Despite my friends' request, I was too embarrassed to go to the kitchen and express my joy in the chefs, so they spoke for me. Later, a total coincidence, we met the beautiful daughter of the cook and her friend, and with them we passed a night for the age. I hope to return to Québec City for this great burger and this great restaurant.
I ordered Tartare de saumon. The salad was fresh, crunchy and a bit tangy. I enjoyed the overall experience except the lengthy wait time.
Had lunch there with my nabeby and sister in the law. We ordered some dishes to share: the original and Charlevoix, additional mini-poutins in good size and oignons francais. Also ordered molten bride to share, it uses maple syrup as base.
We had chicken nachos and Sangria. Both were delicious. Nachos are made with good ingredients. The ambience is festive, but not as loud as some other places on this street. Perfect for us for a romantic date night. The service was quick and friendly. We're locals and we're back. Very recommended!
Perfect for a warm night. The city blocked off the road to traffic, so the patio spills out into the streets. The food looked standard, but one bite of the Quebec burger (bacon jam! sold me. Sangria also seems to be a hit with other patrons. Price point was good solid value for the money.
