Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant's history and how the beer is brewed on site. The food was delicious and my husband loved the beer so much that he bought some to bring home. We even suggested to the server that this place would be a hit in Vancouver, BC where we are from!
During our Canadian Adventure from Toronto to Quebec, we came across Les Trois Brasseurs in Ottawa and Montreal. Excited to find another location in Quebec, we stopped in for a drink as a treat after a day of walking. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful despite the busy lunch rush. They took the time to chat with us at the bar while serving other customers. Although we only had a drink this time, we had hoped to return and try their new menu. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to come back, but still enjoyed our brief visit.
I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats during the pandemic and the experience was not worth the high cost for just a burger and fries. The menu had good options, and my order was delivered correctly. However, the food arrived cold which was disappointing. I think dining in person would have been a better value for the money.
I am usually a huge fan of Les 3 Brasseurs but this time I was really disappointed by the food. I wanted to try different from my usual poutine, so went for the Santa fee salad that looked amazing from the picture and description... my expectations were crushed! It 's a 17$ bowl of iceberg salad with 3 tiny pieces of chicken, 5 black beans and 4 pieces of tomatoes. The dressing is good though... at least!
I was also happy with the Amber beer. I love the stout so much but unfortunately it is seasonal-I will have to wait for it to come around again.
