Ashton - Québec

We made a short afternoon snack. it's just a counter and some tables. we only have a big frit and it was really good. great value for the price and very satisfying. would recommend.

While many people visit for the poutine, I must say that the sandwich at Ashton is quite delicious. I prefer it over other fast food options like McDonald's and Tim Hortons. The seating in the basement is not very appealing, as it feels like sitting in a metal container with the scent of the restroom. I would recommend choosing a place on the street level instead.

The food was excellent at this restaurant. I tried the poutine and double cheeseburger and both were very impressive. However, I do wish there were other options besides just poutine and cheeseburgers on the menu.

During our brief visit to Quebec City, we decided to stop at Ashton to try their famous wurstpoutine. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by the dish. It was nothing special and I felt a bit let down. I would recommend trying elsewhere for a better meal. Maybe consider this place only if you are really desperate for food.

We asked about the best place for poutine in Quebec City. We were directed to Ashton and given a bit of history about the business. The staff inside were very friendly and helpful. The poutine very good and my partner’s burger very good as well....The shop was very busy with eat in and take away.
