The French onion soup and the lamb was really good.

If I have any chance to visit Quebec again and have a meal then I would definitely come here?Everything including the food, service and vibe here was perfect! Our server kindly recommended all the menus and we could have gravlax for our starter which tasted really nice. If possible, you should try it.As a long time fan of French onion soup, the signature onion soup was splendid too!Our main menu, the Arctic char was a masterpiece of today's dinner :)Actually we didn't have the idea of taking dessert here, but as we continued our meal, I thought dessert would also be nice and it surely was!Thank you for all the happy memory in Quebec! We came to Chez Boulay on our first evening in Quebec, luckily someone just canceled the reservation and we’ve been invited instead. Trendy place, nice atmosphere, original menu, great service! Highly recommend!?

Very delicious meal with a couple missteps. My wife ordered the cheese plate to begin and the blue cheese served was grey at the end. I'm sure it was fine to eat, but not very appetizing looking. Also, the toasted bread served with her cheese plate was burnt one on side, conveniently it was served with the burnt side down to not be visible. In a restaurant of this caliber I find this both surprising and disappointing. For a main dish she ordered the chicken and found it quite good and tender, but not incredible.I ordered the tomatoes to start and they were wonderful. Varied in both texture and flavour. I opted for the beef cheek as a main and it did not disappoint either. Some of the most tender beef I've ever eaten.

Ordered braised beef cheefks and onion soup, very unique taste, but tasted really good, beef cheeks were so tender and everything was so flavourfulWish the bread came warm but it was cold, overall didn't really affect my experience though
