I've been to this location twice and each time the food was bad. Rolls and falling apart, ingredients are missing, sushis we did not order instead of our actual order. First time there we ordered two poke bowl (salmon and tuna), the fish was almost nonexistent, super thinly sliced, almost no avocado and soup-like quantity of sauce. It was gross and both bols ended up in the trash not even half-eaten. Second time, we ordered 9 rolls, three of those were not what we ordered, the rolls were cut randomly, some pieces were around a 1/4 inch thick others were almost an inch. Random spicy taste in a few pieces, a piece of ginger in one piece of a roll that definitely did not have ginger in it. One roll only had panko crusting and a tiny piece of avocado. The worst sushi experience I've had. I order from other locations all the time, but this place should already be closed.
We decided to try the spicy tuna and volcano Poke bowls. While the ingredients sounded promising, the overall taste was just average. The bowls lacked the freshness and flavors that we have experienced at other Poke bowl restaurants. Additionally, there was a 30-minute wait for our food during lunchtime, despite the restaurant being empty.
I have worked at a sushi shop before and the quality of the sushi here would not have passed. First, my Smokey roll did not have avocado in it, which is a key ingredient. The Tuna Tataki I ordered turned out to be a tuna nigiri, which did not seem fresh. The mini volcanos lacked red masago, and the Ebimaki tasted old. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my order, especially considering the price I paid. I do not plan on returning to this sushi shop again.
This little shop is empty and we were told by the two young girls it would take 15 minutes for two rolls, and it did! It was cold out so we decided to wait... for the lukewarm soup! Difficult to eat the rolls with chop sticks, we used a plastic spoon. The two rolls were fair, we should have known better!
