Sushi Shop - Québec

To make it quick in case of sushi fringal. nothing to report. equal to other establishments located throughout the province. the day after our visit, the window was disgusting of...m. repugnant. dirty neighborhood.

I live close to it, so I used to go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, several incidents have occurred in the last few months: to have me answer an hour before the closure that it is impossible to make a chicken roll for my intolerant seafood spouse, or to have to wait for more than an hour to order a soup. I had to go home every time, I had to go home, to the great disappointment of my 4-year-old daughter, who loves sushi, who often asks me, and who doesn't understand why (and I quote) "people don't want to make it." I honestly believe that if the waiting time is so long, it's because there's a shortage of employees on the spot. This demonstrates poor management, and lack of consideration for customers. Unfortunately, I will not put my feet back.

We wandered here after not being able to find anything open on Labor Day (which is apparently a Canadian thing too). The nice design of the place and the cool looking menu are deceiving: rolls are tiny, and the salmon sashimi looks more like very thin pieces of lox. All of this would have been fine if we had picked an $8 roll from a coffee shop that also sells prepackaged sushi - and not a 35 (U.S. dollars) sit down lunch. Service is as "friendly and welcoming" French Canadian style as they come. Skip it if you have a choice.

Most of the time I order sushi in this place rather than take the prepared boxes. sushi are fresh and delicious. The menu is vast and I love the cherry blossom. I recommend this address in the heart of St-Roch!!
