Coco La Reve - Queens

The waitstaff approached our table just 5 minutes after we received our appetizers, eager to clear my friend's empty plate. In the next 10 minutes, three more staff members attempted to do the same. We had to intervene and ask them to stop. It felt like there was pressure to leave. I've never encountered such an enthusiastic group of busboys before. I wish they would redirect that energy elsewhere.

While the food was delicious, the service left much to be desired. Given that we were one of only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant, our waitress hardly checked on us or offered any water. When we did request some, she brought two small plastic cups for us rather than proper glasses, which were provided to other tables. Because of this, we chose not to stay longer.

Overall, the experience was great, except that it was colder inside than outside. However, the food was fabulous—fresh and incredibly flavorful.

Decent. Food was good. Surf and turf rolls taste great as does the Lomo Saltado.
