D F Italian Deli - Queens

I decided to try this restaurant based on the sandwich recommendations I heard about. The sandwich I had was deliciously spicy and I would definitely order it again and try more from their menu. While waiting for my food, I noticed they also offer premade pasta dishes in the fridge for only $12, so I will keep that in mind for my next visit.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and affordably priced. I particularly appreciate the care they take in packaging hot food for delivery, ensuring that it remains hot when it reaches your door.

The sandwiches at this restaurant are amazing and the service is very friendly. It is clearly a community favorite as the staff knew many customers by name. We enjoyed our sandwiches at the small tables inside, but they also offer catering and a variety of prepared foods that you can cook at home. Be sure to pay with cash to avoid the credit card service fee at checkout. I definitely recommend this place!

Can’t speak for anything but the sandwiches, as I ordered delivery. I got the Italian specialty sandwich and sausage and pepper hero; holy smokes these were the most delicious sandwiches I’ve had in a decade!! You can tell the meats are premium, the bread is fresh, and even the veggies inside were remarkable. Then you add the fact the food arrived quick?! Lastly, as someone who’s been in NYC their whole life, this food was quintessentially New York.

Great experience! The next day, I needed a variety of sandwich wraps for a funeral and was in a hurry. I discovered D's, a fantastic place that provided excellent service and delicious food.
