These include my man and others who have just gone into the load (not known). I don't feel comfortable ever going back to this food business; Instead, I will take my business to three aunties that, although further away, was always very friendly and welcome for me. they also carry great, authentic Thai products in conclusion, I would like to point out that they are coordinated without doubt policies. while there is a sign that only calls for picking said she had three more unmasked customers in her tiny business at the same time as my man and I. it would have been no more than 1-2 ft distance between each of us.
I love this store! I was in search for Holy Basil or Thai basil because I wanted to make Pad Ka Prow at home. I went to other Thai stores in Woodside and Elmhurst initially and none of them had fresh herbs so I decided give this shop a try. The place didn't look like much, but the owner is very sweet and provided me with a big bunch of fresh Thai basil from behind the counter. Although Holy basil was my first preference, she was out of it and told me to call her next time I need it and she will try to save some for me. She also gave me advice on how to make Thai food. I will definitely be going back to get some more items so I can cook more Thai food at home.
The owner is so nice and helpful!!!! Highly recommend!! Got exactly what we need to make pad Thai and pad see ew!
It’s so cluttered it’s actually pretty hard to find anything. I found that Bangkok Center grocery is way better stocked and organized. When the store clerk learned that what I wanted was out of stock, and I was not going to buy anything else, her goodbye was fairly unfriendly. it’s also a bonafide schlep from Manhattan. Call me a grump, but it was not the kind of “well-stocked” grocery I was hoping for.
Great store that has a lot of the essentials for thai groceries. The owner helped me as I was shopping to make a red curry. She suggested things and showed me the recipe book she has to help guide me. She says she's open from noon to midnight. There are also nice house plants available for purchase.
