The Heron At Hiland - Queensbury

One of our favorite aspects of Hiland was the cocktail hour. The space for cocktail hour is spacious and spread out over several rooms, each with different tables for guests to mingle while standing. It made it easy for everyone to move around and socialize before dinner! Our guests can’t stop raving about the delicious food served during the cocktail hour. It truly was an impressive display! With endless appetizers, beautifully arranged stationary displays, and live cooking stations, it felt like a lavish event. Our guests also enjoyed stepping outside during the reception to take photos in the pavilion while appreciating the stunning views. The bridal suite was spacious and perfect for getting ready. Additionally, Hiland had no events scheduled the day before our wedding, which allowed us to drop off our decorations early—such a relief! The photos we took at Hiland turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to choose this venue. We highly recommend Hiland to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Great course, friendly staff in the pro shop, and a fun afternoon with my loved ones. Not a typical vacation destination, but I highly recommend it!

I played and the course was in excellent condition! The greens rolled beautifully and quickly. Great job, team! I’ll definitely be back!

Our golf league ended last year. The course was in beautiful shape and the staff was great. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
