The Original Queenscliff Fish And Chips

The fish and chips here are quite good. It's unfortunate that extras like lemon and sauce come with an additional charge, but aside from that, it offers a typical Queenscliff experience.

We dined at Queenscliff Fish & Chips for lunch on a Sunday during the summer school holidays, and we were pleasantly surprised by the wait time and the quality of the food. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were just right. We'll definitely return when we're back in the area.

Very impressed with service and taste! Ordered a banana fritter and I wasn't disappointed! Fish and chip were classically, delicious! Would go back again and again!

The food was quite delicious and not greasy at all. The chips were crispy and not soggy, which I really appreciated. However, it's a pity that they only offer family packs and not smaller options for one or two people. Additionally, I had to purchase a wedge of lemon separately.

We visited on January 27, 2021, taking a ferry from Sorrento. In search of authentic local cuisine, we discovered Queenscliff Fish and Chips. The fish and chips were fresh and crispy, with a wonderfully light and crunchy batter—the way fish and chips should be. Their tartar sauce was also delightful. Initially, we ordered two servings, but after trying the blue grenadier, we were so pleased that we added more butter fish. Everything was cooked to perfection. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us whenever we're in Queenscliff. Thank you, Andrew, for maintaining your family business and serving up the original fish and chips.
