The food is prepared in-house and is truly delicious, offering a unique taste not commonly found in other restaurants in Goa. Overall, it provides a beautiful dining experience.
My group of friends and I visited this restaurant without much prior research, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Located in a hidden gem in Goa, the restaurant offers a quiet atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery. The owner's passion for the cuisine and sustainability is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. We were treated to a delicious 7-course lunch featuring unique Portuguese recipes made with fresh, natural ingredients. The dishes were beautifully presented in exquisite porcelain and accompanied by soothing music that transported us to another era. My favorite was the cocum sherbet, which I found to be the best I've ever had. I highly recommend visiting this place for a truly memorable dining experience.
This restaurant is located in a beautifully restored bungalow in the city of Quepem and is owned by a lovely and hospitable couple. The man gives tours of the historic rooms filled with keepsakes from centuries past, while the woman impresses with a delicious four-course menu that is truly unforgettable. It is a must-visit dining experience.
It is a must to visit if they have a layered buffalo and a food. it is a 200-year old ago painful repression restored by ruben and celia. they serve delicious local goan food. welcome drink, followed by appetizers, suppen, main...course and desserts. there is a great variety, including many local dishes of garnel cocks fish, vegetables etc. most vegetables are cultivated on the plot. I would highly recommend it for the experience and eating. ruben and celia are wonderful hostess. book a day before!
Ruben is doing the whole world a huge favour by letting us experience this restored property and also serving us with most fantastic homely Indo Portuguese food ever. Must visit place!
