Soda La Hormiga - Quesada

Food and service are great here. The food is quite traditional and cheap. It will not be the best meal you ever had; but for the price and get some traditional Costa Rican food it makes the trick.

Recommend this restaurant in downtown La Fortuna. Great restaurant for good Costa Rican cuisine at a reasonable price. I could find a vegan dish to satisfy my taste buds. We're used to paying $30-$50 per meal for both of us. It is so refreshing to have found a good and inexpensive restaurant. You have an English menu! The two of us spent 5000 CRC for our brunch. It is less than $10 USD for two people per meal.

I've eaten twice here and can eat here every day. Super affordable, delicious fast service. I had beef in a tomato sauce, rice, tortilla and an icy tea for $4.12 USD (2700 CRC). And they still have CHEAPER meals. Hands down when you are looking for high quality food for a great price, this is the point.

A great local place that is ant themed. This soda was a great price and had a large variety of options. I got the fish casado and it was very good and prepared fast. Nothing too fancy but it was filling and well done. I would recommend anyone to come here for a quick bite that is no nonsense and budget friendly.

This place was recommended by a tour guide I had. The location was great, right in the heart of Fortuna (kind of like International Drive at Disney) so it was easy to get to and there was free street view parking close by. There was no wait for lunch time and it was a very fast turnaround time for food. I recommend the typical Costa Rican dish of the Casado. You get a lot of food with that and it tastes great!
