Called in here to support the local eateries during the 2017 fire season. They owner closed the doors just after 7pm on a Friday night? We ate very average food and cheap drinks. The owner harangued us with questions about how good her food was but frankly it wasn't worth coming back for. Keep the doors open and quit complaining that there is nobody there to eat.

I have gone here a few times now. The first time I sat down and was not even served water for 20 minutes. So naturally I got up and left. The second time I tried take out, except no one answered the phone so I went in and ordered...A burrito took 40 minutes to make. The third time I went with a co worker and the door was open but apparently there was a problem in the kitchen and the place was closed, they just forgot to lock the door. The fourth time I went there, again with a co worker they messed up his order. Their response was "oh, i didn't even write it down, oops". I get that this place is casual and in a small town it's great. BUT you are still a business! I want to order food from you, but it is very difficult! The food, if and when you get it is delicious though. Don't expect service and don't expect it to be open even if it says they are.

The food was excellent and better than Mexican restaurants in Ottawa and Toronto. The chips were good as was the salsa. My son loved the Quesadilla and the tamales were excellent.

I'm not sure why this review from more than a year ago was still in my drafts. This place is amazing.
