Feedback gevenLast night we revisited Kakalots Chinese Restaurant, located on the west side of Quesnel across the bridge, just past Bliss’ coffee shop. We were pleased to find that everything was just as delicious as we remembered. The food was well-prepared and cooked, served at a reasonable price with generous portions and with friendly service. The atmosphere felt like a cozy family café, and it was clear that it is a favorite spot among locals. We tried combos #5 and #9, both of which were excellent. The almond chicken was perfectly cooked and not greasy, and the vegetables in the dishes were cooked just right—tender but not mushy. The sauces were flavorful, especially the sweet and sour sauce which was not overly heavy or artificial tasting. The fried items like shrimp and chicken were lightly breaded and fried to perfection, with a delicate and non-greasy taste. We loved our experience at Kakalots and will definitely be returning in the future!
We ordered the Ginger Beef, Lemon Chicken, Chicken Chowmain, Pork Fried Rice, beef and broccoli, and Hone Garlic Pork. We wanted delivery but it was quicker to pick up and we were hungry. Food was hot, and hitter spot. Very nice staff when we paid and they offered plates and utensils for take out. Good experience overall.
I recently had my wedding reception at the Flynn Pavilion and was very satisfied with my experience. The venue was spotless and ideal for my event. Additionally, the rental price was very affordable.
I used to spend every summer here before I finally got my driver's license.
I use to come to this park when I was a kid.
