The Coffee Bean Tea Leaf

Spacious branch, the comfort room is pleasant. Just like other branches of CBTL, the prices of their drinks, other beverages, and food are the same.

Good place to tambay but heavy for the wallet if you are in a group of 8. The cakes are good; the best one we love the most is the triple decker cheesecake. The chocolate cakes are too sweet on our part. We got the white chocolate coconut series drink which is so-so.

3 i.e. satisfactory naman because 1) the place is spacious, 2) this branch has a comfort room inside the store, 3) it was Double Stamp promo day earlier for the planner and will run until Feb 3 and 4) the other drinks we ordered were good (these drinks are the usual suspects). Not a 4 nor a perfect score of 5, why? Because 1) the cashiers (or baristas) the one who got my orders/payment and another one who stamped my card for the 5 drinks were not friendly/ not smiling as compared to other branches like Power Plant Mall, 2) although the CR did not seem dirty, everything was working and stocked with toilet paperbeven BUT it really smelled dirty (even my friend noticed it too), 3) the new Guava drink I ordered tasted like cough syrup (in my opinion #ToEachHisOwn) and to think I enjoy Guava fruit drinks like the bottled one from Seattle’s Best, so I guess I will just stick to my usual CBTL drinks. Will we be back? Yes because when in Vertis North, it’s one of the chill coffee places to go to, because it’s spacious, after having dinner in the area.

What I Had: Baked Fusili Pink Guava Juice What I Love: Always, always, with CBTL is the staff — friendly, accommodating, attentive, and responsive to requests. I came in looking for a good spot, and the staff immediately approached me and help me get seated (there’s quite a crowd). I’ll probably have anything with my favorite pink guava juice here but i’d say the baked fusili is okay. Enough meat in it, only downside is that the pasta and the cheese on top can get a bit chewy when it’s get cold.

I love The coffee bean and tea leaf Ayala VERTIS NORTH. The ambiance was so good very peaceful and relaxing especially when they played relaxing music. You know I feel so relaxed and peaceful, I will Visit again the CBTL VERTIS NORTH Branch.
