The food is delicious, yes. I like their miso soup, not something like other japanese restaurant serve (too much white wine, too salty) and the rice is just ok. I like it a bit more sticky. The price is absolutely not cheap (TV says it is), 10% service charge and price is expensive for too small serving meal. As for the service, the staffs are nice, but they absolutely messed up with my order (they forgot I ordered this meal, so we waited for it while they served the soup already, which will, of course, turn cold) and doubled a meal in the receipt (but I've corrected it so I didn't pay for the extra meal. Take note, there are only like, 2 other customers when we got there).Overall, I don't like to come back here. There are lots of good restaurant in Maginhawa with reasonable price and more servings (also delicious). If you'll take more than 2 people here, just look for other place. This is just good for a date (and spending some cash)
The restaurant could easily be spotted because of its big signage. It is located at the second floor of a building so not really PWD-friendly. The place was spacious and has a function room. The food choices are reasonably priced and served in huge portions. Our server was courteous and knew how to explain their menu. My only pet peeve was that we were there for lunch and the other staff (I don't know if on break or just idle since we were the only ones there) were taking a siesta where we can see them. As in they were lying down. While I feel for them, I hope they could do their personal business somewhere else.

One of the best Japanese restos I've been to while being not extremely expensive. Great place eat with your family. But they recently changed their sushi chef so the servings got smaller.
It was recommended by a friend for us to try. I am an avid fan of Japanese food. This place had a nice japanese feel to it. Staff was accomodating. For the food, we tried the Tako sashima (octupus tentacles), it smelled a little fishy bur was very savory and soft. Then we got the shoyu ramen which was a really big serving. It is really filling. Although there is nothing special with the ramen, the bento gyudon meal was worth the price aince you get rice, one main course, salad, and 4 pcs sashimi. The highlight, for me, was the iced tea. It was the perfect blend of tea and lemon which was very refreshing for this very warm weather.
