It isn't Cebu lechon but the pork skin was crispy and the sauce made up for the relatively bland lechon meat. The service was prompt and servings were large. We got value for our money.
Sad that the Lechon was really bad. Pakbet stood out though. Maybe they oughtta change their name to Lydia's pakbet. Express meal was very expensive for the quality of food they serve. Because really, I wouldn't mind paying 185 bucks or even more for quality lechon.
Ratings: Bad ???? Good ???? Excellent ???? FOOD = Good! PLACE = Good! STAFF = Good! VALUE = Good! Affordable! I went here because Im craving for Cebu's Lechon... only to find out that this is a perfect place for lechon cravings cos the food tastes soooo GOOD! Its like Im in Cebu again!
I passed by here once to get some takeout for a family gathering. I was surprised that their per kg rate is higher than others. I usually buy from another place but it just so happened that lydia's was on the way home and we decided to give it a try for convenience sake. For me, lydia's is just popular because of their tv ads before (iirc). The taste and quality is acceptable but really nothing to rave about. snapsnstories.blogspot.com
