Cafe Brasserie Le Finistere - Quimper

Beautiful site, but food disappointing. Daughter could not eat pasta. No sense of regret from manager. But then there are too many others like us who didn't check for one of the great places in Quimper.

Wasn't sure about this place at first, as the menu makes it look a bit 'fast food'. And certainly service was fast, although staff were polite and helpful, but the food was of decent quality and good value, even if the menu isn't so extensive or 'haute cuisine'. I'd say the best bit was the beer - good selection of 'famous' brews, but also Breton beer! Telenn Du, biere de blé noire, especially recommended!

My husband and I came across this gem of a burger resturant whilst in Brittany, France on holiday. I had the Jeckyl and Hyde burger which was very tasty and my husband had the Sherlock Grump. They are cooked to your preference, rare, medium or well done, cooked fresh to order and came with chips and salad. It is the best burger I have had in my life! The two guys who served us were very friendly and polite and attentive, they also spoke good English which was a bonus which made it easier for us to order. All the burgers were named in association with Sherlock Holmes theme which I thought was very clever! I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely return when next in Brittany on holiday! !

Fantastic location. Spent a morning watching the world go by - three lovely coffees. Toilets first class and service excellent. Went back two days later to sample the delights once more. Recommended.

We had the Breton Platter and a goat's cheese salad. The platter was a vast helping of local sausage, salami and pate, and the salad was generous too. A sunny and lively spot for a quick lunch at a fair price. So no complaints from us.
