We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the staff, who made us delicious ham and cheese toasted sandwiches and suggested great drinks. They even recommended we visit the Quinn Abbey across the street, which was very old and stunning. We would definitely return to Monks Well for another visit!
One of the best experiences we had in the world. warm, welcoming environment and the family that runs the pub is absolutely beautiful. they made our whole group dinner a few nights and it was delicious. also the cheesecake of bailey should die. highly recommended!
We spent a great week in quin for the fleadh in ennis. mönche well inn was for us to home pub. claire and sharon were fabulous. we wanted a late lunch and dinner on the way to the competition. our group tried everything on the menu, and all the offered plates were delicious. the pub is clean, beautiful, comfortable. we couldn't enjoy the garden, but he looks beautiful. we spent our evenings in the session and enjoyed chatting with our local friends. now that we are back to home indiana, we are missing the friends, music and toasts of baby guinness! thank you and we are back!
We were here on the day after the high season of my brother for a grill. they couldn't have been nicer. we first turned up with our two daughters and immediately someone was over to ask if the children were hungry and their bbq was first put on. the food was fabulous. the garden where we had the grill was also beautiful. really enjoyed the evening.
The monks good pub is such a friendly, brilliant run, and all in all fantastic gasthof! I stayed there for the fleadh this summer, and every evening was the cratic and music brilliant. the workers are so courteous and welcoming, I would really recommend that someone stay here as they are not far from ennis city and the atmosphere is fantastic.
