99 Restaurants - Quincy

The photo may not capture how great this meal really was. I had stuffed shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus, while my daughter enjoyed fish tacos. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious!

I ordered a meal through DoorDash from this restaurant, choosing the buffalo boneless wings and loaded tots combo, along with the chocolate-drizzled dough bites. I have to say, I am really disappointed with this meal. The loaded tots tasted spoiled, as if the sauce had gone bad. To make matters worse, I only received seven tots in total—definitely not what I would call "loaded." The boneless wings were acceptable but nothing special. However, the worst part of the meal was the dough bites. I have to hand it to them; they somehow made something that was both moist and incredibly dry at the same time—quite an achievement! I couldn't even swallow one of the dough bites. They lacked flavor, were extremely chewy, and just didn't sit well at all. I wouldn't recommend any of the items I ordered, especially if you have any self-respect. Don't waste your money on this!

We had a lovely evening meal on our last day of our fabulous 3 and half week trip around USA by AMTRAK. The food was excellent and so was the beer (brewed specifically for 99 Restaurants) . The service was really good. It was right next door to our hotel (Holiday Inn Express). I will look out for these restaurants in future.

If you want quality comfort food and a drink. Come here I have come to this place several times, normally after a serious workout. It is a simple bar/restaurant where I can get some good grub and a beer after a long day. I always sit at the bar and the bar tenders are friendly without being overbearing. I can highly recommend the chicken pot pie, it is a large portion and very very good. The best I've had outside of my family's home cooking. The turkey tips are also pretty tasty if you want a more basic protein fix. Suitable for families, couples, friends and solo. There is also plenty of regular table seating. There is plenty of parking

To make matters worse, they charged us for items like petite treats that should have been included in their combo meals, as well as for the actual entrees. The entire ordeal lasted about 2 to 2.5 hours. While they did compensate us by removing some charges and giving us two $50 gift cards, they eventually had to refund us again for the food we never received. I can honestly say this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. I want to clarify that our waitress was kind and clearly overwhelmed due to being understaffed, but my niece still did not receive her dinner throughout the 2.5 hours we were there. My brother ended up having to stay later just to pick it up. I will never return to this particular branch of the 99 Restaurant.
