Ain't Just Pie Too Quinlan

My husband and I stopped by this restaurant for breakfast on a weekday. Despite the delicious breakfast tacos, we were disappointed with the service. I repeatedly informed our waitress about my order for a biscuit with sausage gravy, but she only brought the biscuit. After prompting the manager, the cold sausage gravy finally arrived, with little acknowledgment of the mistake. To top it off, we were informed at the register that the restaurant was only accepting cash due to a system issue. We were promised that the charge would be processed once the system was back online, but it wasn't until the next day. Overall, our experience was frustrating and we will not be returning to this establishment. They have lost our business.

Visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30. It wasn 't busy. Maybe 2 families in. The waitstaff seemed absolutely miserable. Maybe forced to work there? I asked for eggs basted and was scowled at and told they don 't know what that is and they only haveeggs over easy, medium or hard . I opted for a BLT instead and we asked for all bacon to be burnt crispy. Didn 't happen. Wealso ordered extra bacon and it was forgotten so we had to ask again. Coke is by the can here, no fountain. Pancakes are verythick and cake like. Pretty good flavor. The bread on the BLT was also good. I 'm not a fan of the service and the food wasokay. Nothing to write home about.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the service we received from both the waitress and the owner/manager was extremely rude. The waitress made a mistake with my husband's order and when we brought it to their attention, they handled the situation poorly. The waitress attempted to charge us for the extra food that was not ordered, even though my husband did not touch it. We requested to speak with the manager, but when she came over, she did not offer an apology or address the issue, she simply cleared the table quickly and returned with the correct check. Although the difference in price was only $2, their handling of the situation was enough to discourage us from returning to the restaurant. It is a shame because the food was excellent and the diner had a charming atmosphere.

The waitress we had was extremely unprofessional. The tomato bisque soup tasted like a bowl of salty red liquid. The prices at this restaurant are too high for the quality of the food. As a Quinlander, I will be avoiding this place until they make some improvements.

The Big Breakfast was perfect for my big appetite , warm and delicious. Great prices
