Usually Rocks is really good but I'm Super disappointed this time. I ordered two kids fish and chips. Ate half the fish, and the other half was off. Texture was off, it stunk and was green. Chucked the rest out after that. Hopefully I don't get sick.
Nothing to complain about with these guys. Serving size is huge and quality of food is fantastic. Young crew working behind the counter are very friendly and efficient. Worth every cent.
The only thing more REVOLTING than the food, was the owner 's disgusting attitude. After calling to order, and letting them know we were giving them another chance after our last $40 of f&c went in the bin, we received the most limp, greasy, grubby from grotty oil chips. Couldn 't get them on the phone again, so ran back up, leaving the hungry troops at home, only to be refused acknowledgment from the owner, while he barked at the poor kids working for him to 'give her her money back ', no offer to do anything to fix the situation, no apology either. REVOLTING! Manager was very rude, vulgar language towards sid the sloth and living south african mop. Mrs Bossy Boots telling the other employees off, while waiting a delayed hour of waiting as boy who looks too young to have a job forgot our chips. On a worse note I saw the younger girl eating another order's chips while waiting outside, was disgusted by lack of hygiene and manager's tone of voice. I had also seen a few weeks before the boss buying alcohol for employees who looked under age and should not be drinking on the job anyway. Recommend Salty's beach cafe down the road if you're local. :
