Big Tree Bistro - Quy Nhon

I usually try to stay away from places serving both local and western food. But this time we were surprised with the quality and consistency of their food! Perfect for a multicultural family like mine! The menu is varied and the staff is friendly and professional. If you are seeking a good retreat, beach life, quality place in Quy Nhon, do not hesitate!

A fantastic place to hang out on the beach, regardless of the weather! Easily found if you follow the yellow signs on the roadside pointing to Mira Bai Xép and take the correct street downwards from the main road (when traveling southwards, away from Quy Nhon, it is on the left side of the road. There is a large red banner on top of the entrance). Once you get downhill through the small streets, you will be greeted by a wonderful sea view. The service is very friendly, and the staff speaks a sufficient amount of English for making you feel welcome. The menu itself also has English translations, and the dishes are delicious. I highly recommend the eggplant with coconut cream! The cakes and drinks were also tasty. Aside from the restaurant area, they also have a nice serviced working space with comfy armchairs and a sea view. The restrooms are also impeccably clean. Looking forward to returning to this gem someday!

What a wonderful, chilled little resort with a touch of Vietnam vintage. Great staff, good food and access to lovely beach. Worth making the effort to find this little gem

Can't praise this place enough. My boyfriend and I are big foodies, and we ate here for 3 days because everything was so tasty and fresh. They really hit the spot on all their dishes. We had both western and Vietnamese food. I've been to Italy a lot, and still the pasta I had here was some of the best I've ever had. Simple food, but with a lot of thought and love to it! The drinks are also well thought of, the homemade ginger beer is amazing!! Also great view and a very nice tranquil vibe to enjoy.

The location is incomparable. Waking up every morning having breakfast lunch and dinner with this view was amazing. I stayed here solo but quickly made friends with the staff and other travelers staying there and not staying there. The food is so good, many people staying around the village come here to eat and drink and it's easy to make friends. During my stay they had a very talented Vietnamese artist perform, he was AMAZING and well known around Vietnam. Its rare that you find a place like this anywhere in the world and I'm so grateful and lucky I took the recommendations and came here. I ended up bring some other travelers here that I met in town and they cancelled their in-town hostels and stayed here because they instantly fell in love. Oh! And they have a wonderful dog there!
