Applebee's - Radford City

The food was good. Was fresh and hot when I arrived for my party of 7 people. The server seemed to be new or bad. Poor boy seemed overwhelmed. He really tried, but he needs more training. He had a difficult time multitasking between refilling our drinks and additional ketchup. No reason not to return. Pretty good food and a server that really tries hard. It's hard to find.

Applebee is for dinner. I was there for an early dinner at 3:00 p.m. You are a little short staff, so expect to wait a little longer to greet and sit and get your meal. Server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered Fiesta Lime Chicken. One of my favorites. It was perfectly boiled, but could have used a little more tortilla strips... through the naval catches. Of course I'm back. You are conveniently located directly on the Radford side of the memorial bridge, left next to CVS.

This place could help when it comes to the kitchen, but the service was great. Anthony was our server and he trained a young lady. Both were understandable via the menu and made great suggestions. They checked us several times and we appreciated it very much. Thank you.
