Eds beach bakery rainbow beach

Monday & Tuesday this week between 12:20 & 12:40 I tried to get a chunky beef pie but they were already out. Not good enough. So we settled for curry mince (average). We also had sweet chilli chicken pastie which was all pastry, little filling and no sweet chilli taste.

Great to get such flakey fresh pastry and a great selection of pies and cakes all be it a lot of old school favourites they do hit the spot. My favourite are the kabana hound dogs, but wish I might have tried the spinach parcels or the chicken parcels they sounded great. Maybe next time because I'll be back for sure.

When we arrived there was very little left to buy. We bought two meat and pea pies (????) and two bacon and cheese rolls (like a sausage roll). Also two apple turnovers. This small amount cost $40 which I think is exorbitant. They tasted ok.

Being a typical Aussie there is nothing better then a pie to clear the head the morning of the night before!!!! Actually these are good anytime, with so much variety from a small bake house you will not know what to pick. Personally I love the breakfast pie and the curry sausage roll but why not work your way through them all, it is worth it.

Excellent pies and sandwiches. Good value for money and quick. Sandwiches were freshly made. Always stop here on the way through to Fraser Island!
