Food Sans Borders - RAINBOW BEACH

We visited this restaurant twice - for lunch and an early dinner to see the sunset. fantastic spot and great food

Carlo Point is one of the highlights of Rainbow Beach & Food Sans Borders is well located there. Jillian ( the owner ) gave friendly service & generous servings of a variety of dishes. We enjoyed a pasta dish, dumplings & a salmon meal. Although he was busy, Jillian was very attentive. Most enjoyable. DougKew

A very nice place to eat where bases on nice marine scenes The owner is very nice person, we called late for launch but he was more than happy to keep the place open for us and he informed us of many things and activities that can be done in the area We were visiting with friends to rainbow area. I had seafood basket which was great and my wife and other family had souvlak I think it's name which was Greek style chicken on skewers, and it was very good. The restaurant is very clean, tidy and great location.I would like to visit it again if I will be there.

We dined early to catch the stunning sunset. Although I had fresh, local seafood, our table ordered samosas, greek, pasta, etc. It's a couple of Ks from the CBD with plenty of parking; ideal for weddings, etc.

It is well worth the drive to the end of Carlos Road to visit this restaurant.I'm a big Indian cuisine lover and although there was only one Indian dish on the menu - it was made to perfection. The (vege) samosas were fresh and fragrant and the curry was clearly cooked from scratch (and not a pre-prepared paste). It seemed that most places in the main business area, as well as the resort restaurants, didn't start dinner menus until 5:30pm, so we drove down Carols Road around 5pm, ordered takeaway and watched the breathtaking sunset over the ocean. An absolutely perfect evening - I only wish my meal came with a garlic naan or roti!
