Capital Club 15 - Raleigh

Tried this place for restaurant week and also ordered off their regular dinner menu. Everything we tried was delicious and we absolutely plan to come back! It is such an unassuming place that we wouldn’t pick if we walked past it but we are so glad we stumbled across it because there is so much more on the menu we want to try. The restaurant is categorized as “new american” but their menu feels like home cooked German traditional food. The service was great and the ambiance was very calm. Although there only seemed to be one waiter for the entire restaurant he was really on the ball and we never felt neglected. All of the dishes came out in a timely manner and our drinks never ran dry. Shout out to the hostess who was considerate of things happening outside of the restaurant like a flickering street light and accommodated moving guests to different tables to be less affected by the light coming in the windows.

4.5 stars - The brunch mimosa special is fantastic; it's truly an experience. The service is exceptional, and they offer classic German dishes. I did have to send a steak back because it was overcooked, but they promptly replaced it. Unfortunately, the new steak still lacked flavor, although the other items on the plate were delicious. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable.

Delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices in a cozy atmosphere. It's advisable to make reservations for weekend brunch.

We are locals that stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night date night and we are so glad we did! I had the zucchini schnitzel with German potato salad, and he had the southern style cheesesteak with fries. The food was great, as was the service and the ambiance. We were hoping to have room for the apple strudel but were unfortunately too full from our hearty meal. We hope to come back to try some of their other dishes!

Always a treat. We had a brunch reservation and they seated us super promptly. The schnitzel sandwich was fantastic, the **** mary well seasoned. One of my favorite spots in town for brunch hands down. I just wish they'd bring back the potato pancakes!
