Dharani Express - Raleigh

We stopped here on our way to the beach and had chicken biryani and aloo paratha. Chicken Biryani was really good and we over-ate. Aloo paratha was not to my liking, it was more of a naan with a thin layer of potato filling.

Not any fancy place but good value for money. Food takes a bit longer to appear but it’s good enough. They can work on freshness of items a bit and customer service has suffered a lot during pandemic but it’s convenient price and comfortable location. Should try. I am coming back after a year to edit my review as Google won’t allow to post a new one, the place under renovation is now completed and lovely. Food is good as usual and good value for money. Decorations are traditional and minimalist, making an inviting ambiance. Should try the place with new vibes.

We picked up a catering order for a graduation party. Food was great, staff was accommodating and helpful getting it into car.

Surprisingly good food from a buffet lunch. Curry is spicy as it should. Today's buffet offered chicken vindaloo. The best I've had from around here. The buffet offered variety of dishes uncommon to Indian buffet and they were delicious. This was our second visit. We still love the food. Definitely will be more visits to this place.

Went there last week and the food was good ! They have started their noon buffet now and there were 2 very seperate counters for Vegeterian and Non Vegetarian items. Also the staff was very polite and welcoming. The dessert was awesome and so as other dishes. The only issue which I had was the timing , so they close their buffet at 2:15 which I found earlier than other places so plan accordingly .
