Mum's Jamaican - Raleigh

This was my first time eating here and I regret it. My staff and I got sick because the jerk chicken was not fresh. It was cut up chicken that tasted warmed over and the sauce was served in a cup. The chicken had a nasty smell to the bone. The rice and beans were dry and the cabbage was the only decent thing in the meal.

I don't know what in the world is going on with take out or even dine in for that fact. Now 25-27$ for a large Ox tail plate. Okay, but where is the meat again? Now you only get rice and cabbage Plantains are extra now ? I don't understand. Miss spelled some words no doubt. To say I paid for the gas to get there, I walked in to get it so that cost them nothing no drink comes with this order, I just feel like I literally had just came out of the grocery store. However the Food was Good and the service was fast can not complain about those areas at all...

I’ve been on the hunt for the best Caribbean food in the triangle , especially being from up north nothing has compared, BUT this is one of two of the best (the other is a good truck). First, they are pleasant and fast. Next the flavor and portions are perfect. Everything we ordered was amazing , and they even have roti bread !!! Oh wait the max n cheese was bussin Overall wonderful experience, will be a repeat customer.

This restaurant is my go to place when I don't have the energy to cook at home. The food is always well prepared and the servers are always polite. The dining area needs improvement and the glass area on the doors and windows should be regularly cleaned.

The food was fresh! A bit too much on the ketchup (after taste) oxtail order; but, just happy the food was fresh. Most importantly, I felt welcomed! I will venture back.....
