Their **** Mary's, Shrimp and Grits and Key Lime Pie are my absolute favorites! If you love Southernfood and gifts as well as a really fun atmosphere ..... you can't beat NOFO at the Pig! ????
I loved the atmosphere. The room was bright and cheery with nods to it's history as a former Piggly wiggly. Food was really great too. One star deducted for service. Our waitress was curt and made us feel rushed, despite the restaurant not being busy.
Who wants to eat in an old Piggly Wiggly? Well, YOU do if you love great southern cooking and excellent service. Fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese were delicious and so we're the cocktails. The pork chop, was tremendous. If you arehungry, that is what you order. However, Shrimp and grits were tasty and all sides were delicious. Can't wait to return forbrunch or a daily special!
Great place for brunch! Nice staff, fun atmosphere. The omelette was delicious with fresh ingredients and the grits were some of the best I?ve had. The shop upstairs was fun, with lots of unique gifts and things for the kitchen. I?d definitely recommendchecking this place out.
Read a lot of positive reviews about the place. Decided to visit it for brunch on an ordinary Sunday. Party of four, waited about 40 minutes to get a table. Waited about 15 minutes at the table without a single person greeting us. Waitress finally gotthere and was nice, but looked frantic and overworked. Food came relatively quick, as a matter of fact, it beat the drink Iordered, their famous **** mary, which if you're into bitter, you'll def like. Repeat, the food beat the drink to thetable. My kids said the breakfast wasn't anything special, borderline bland. My wife got the shrimp and grits and they looklike it was a layer of oil on top. The food was definitely not worth the wait. Not to rag too much on this place, but I havehad much, much better. Don't know why this was listed best breakfast in Raleigh. It's NOT.
