Sushi Blues - Raleigh

I had a great experience at this restaurant. They offer BOGO sushi rolls and have good drink specials (on Tuesday they had a draft special and $4 well drinks). It's a good spot for a quick and flavorful dinner. The HOT sign on the menu truly means HOT, and I was surprised by how spicy it was. I will definitely stop in here again. The service was quick and efficient, thanks to Xavier.

Sushi Blues is located in Glenwood South and is known for serving delicious sushi. Situated on Glenwood Avenue near popular bars and clubs, the restaurant offers a spacious front patio with custom-built benches and tables. The service is fast, and they have a great bar. Stop by for a drink before a night out or take advantage of their BOGO sushi roll deals at the bar. On Wednesdays and Sundays, they offer half-price bottles of wine specials. Sushi Blues has been a popular spot in Raleigh for a long time, and the sushi is top-notch. It's a great place to meet up with friends.

My fiancé and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now, especially after seeing so many people coming in and out. The outdoor seating area is wonderful. Andy was our server and we were impressed by how he introduced himself to us and his patience as we deliberated over what to order. The food was fantastic, especially the soup and salad. Our entrees were also delicious, although I'm not sure of their names (photos attached). Andy definitely deserves a raise! ????

The vibe is cool and the sushi was really yummy, but it was a super long wait (like almost 40 minutes to get it and I?m not sure why because we were here on a Thursday afternoon and there weren?t very many customers. So idk if that?s normal or not, butif you?re in a hurry I wouldn?t chance it. Luckily, we weren?t so our party of three just chatted and made the best of the wait.When the sushi was finally brought out, though, it was delicious. Love that it?s BOGO so we could all order a couple differentkinds of rolls to get a good sampling. There wasn?t one we had that we didn?t really enjoy, so I don?t think you can go wrong nomatter what you order. We ordered the Steven Tyler, New York New York, David Thompson and one other that I can?t remember(sorry! ????
