The Daily Planet Cafe - Raleigh

We had our lunch upstairs in the smaller cafe called Acro cafe, the service was great the young lady at the register was very friendly and you could just tell she wanted to make sure we were happy customers. The wrap I ordered was very mushy and not verygood , the cashier offered a replacement for me. My husbands club sandwich was pretty good but it seemed like the Mayo on thesandwich had been heated and it almost looked like cottage cheese we just wiped all the Mayo off. But the kids enjoyed , and the$6 kid meal was great !! Such a great value . My daughter said it was the best grilled cheese ever lol . We will be back , justtry not to heat the Mayo .

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I was a bit thrown off by the construction and entered through the side door. There was just one person in front of me, and the gentleman who was sweeping paused his work to take my order, even though I was perfectly fine waiting. It's been a long time since I've felt so genuinely welcomed by a customer service representative, rather than feeling like I was just an inconvenience. Thank you!

We visited on a Wednesday and found the restaurant closed! We spent some time at the museum, which was quite disappointing due to many closed exhibits, and hoped to grab a snack and some drinks afterward. Unfortunately, that wasn’t an option. It was really frustrating, especially since the kids were looking forward to enjoying a meal.

Wow! I absolutely didn't expect the food to be this delicious when we visited. The service was prompt for what we ordered, and even the kids' meals were impressive. The portion sizes were generous all around. This place could definitely make me consider getting a membership to the Museum of Natural Science!

Loved the various options including vegetarian choices. Outdoor seating was also available. Enjoyed the brie and bacon grilled sandwich ????
