Wakefield Tavern - Raleigh

This restaurant offers some of the best food around, no doubt about it! My friends and I visit as a group, typically once a week. We always have a fantastic time enjoying the atmosphere, and the service is consistently top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone in the local area!

The service was excellent and attentive, the food was wonderful and arrived promptly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. This restaurant is well-managed and it shows! Kudos to the management for clearly knowing what they’re doing. The hostess, waiter, and other servers were courteous, professional, and attentive. We will definitely be returning. Our server, Austin, was particularly outstanding, providing great service!

We've been visiting the Tavern for a few years, and the service has always been exceptional. Austin and Lauren always take great care of us; they even know our drink orders and have them ready as soon as we walk in the door. The food is fantastic, and the chef’s specials never disappoint. We highly recommend this place—be sure to say hello to Anthony when you go!

One of the best if not the best locally owned restaurants in the region. Highly recommend. If you are anywhere near here, stop by for lunch or dinner. I had the lamb burger which surpassed all expectations, and the fries are amazing. This is a must-try.
