We decided to stop and eat at "Au Soleil" and we were not disappointed! All the staff is really nice, helpful and friendly. We all really enjoyed the family atmosphere. The view is fantastic and last but not least - the meals were excellent! We had salads, crepes, pasta - everyone finished their plates :)It was a great experience and the bill was really reasonable. I definitely recommend Au Soleil: Bon appetit!
On a summer night the street where this pizzeria is located was great, wind was blowing and we have a nice evening. Pizzas are all right and we ordered green salad which was a bit basic. Wine, both red and white, by half pichet bottles was very basic, but at least white was cold. They did not really understand our basic efforts to speak french and there was a misunderstanding about one of the dishes but it was solved promptly and professionally but the waiter. Not really cheap but food was correct and dinner was good overall
We were there pretty late around 10pm and obviously super hungry. We have waited for at least an hour to be served a pizza and a steak... just an average quality for an average price...
We had a decent low cost dinner here. The staff were enthusiastic and willing to speak English. Sometimes it takes a little effort to speak French to bring out the best in people. The pizzas, salad, and wine were just fine and we got a good smile out of our server at the end of the meal.
My husband and I found this place on a chilly afternoon in December and were immediately given a warm welcome by the waiter and cook, who strives away behind the counter, coming up with mouth-watering delicacies to tempt any palate. We ordered pizza and a salade soleil, finished off with home made pancake with banana and chant illy. It was all delightful and delicious and watching the cook at work and interact with customers and locals was a rare and authentic experience. It is a tight fit, with only 3 tables upstairs and 3 down, so arrive early to avoid disappointment - we saw many people turned away at the door, or wait outside. Thoroughly recommended.
