Botan Sushi - Rancho Cordova

Update: As of 3/15/2019, this restuarant appears to have closed their doors for good. They were locked up tight during business hours. Always a tasty and filling lunch for less than $10 get bento box with miso soup, meat entrée, tempura, pot sticker, rice and a salad.

The people are nice, the service is great, the food is affordable and the sushi chef actually knows what he's doing. i'd recommend the special rolls but so far it's all been delectable. thanks botan!

I ordered the seafood sukiyaki, and it was exceptional! The flavor and quality of the food were excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Additionally, the portions are quite generous.

Wednesday at 5 PM isn't particularly busy at Botan, which is quite surprising. The service was excellent, the staff were patient, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting—perfect for someone craving a satisfying meal. The complimentary ice cream may have swayed my opinion a bit as well—it was simply delightful!
